2. Data collected
When you visit the site, our host records in server logs: IP address, date and time, URL requested, referrer, browser and system identification. Purpose: technical operation and defence against attacks. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Retention: 14 days as a rule.
Through the enquiry form: name, e-mail address, telephone number, postcode and town, type of project, building type, number of rooms, preferred timing, selected mode (cooling or heating) and your optional message.
We also store the IP address of a submission briefly in order to block automated sending.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Your form data is used to process your enquiry and contact you, and to pass it to our partner company so that it can assess your project and prepare a quotation.
The legal basis is your explicit consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, given when you submit the form, together with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual steps taken at your request.
4. Recipients
Recipients are: (a) our partner company, a refrigeration contractor authorised in Luxembourg, acting as an independent controller for advice, quotation and installation; (b) our hosting provider as a processor, servers located within the European Union; (c) our mail provider as a processor.
The name and address of the company are provided on request, and at the latest when your enquiry is passed on: cool@clima.lu.
No transfer to list brokers, advertising networks, comparison sites or other companies. No transfer to third countries outside the EEA.
5. Retention
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle them, at most 24 months after the last contact, and are then deleted subject to statutory retention obligations. Retention at the partner company is governed by its own privacy policy.
6. Cookies
Only technically necessary cookies are used: a session cookie protecting the form against abusive submissions, and a local storage entry remembering the mode selected on the temperature slider. No tracking, no analytics tools, no advertising cookies, no profiling. No consent is required for this (Art. 5(3) ePrivacy Directive).
7. Fonts
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which transmits your IP address to Google. If you wish to avoid this, the fonts can be served locally from our server; the technical switch is prepared. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
8. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time with future effect by a simple message to cool@clima.lu.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Luxembourg supervisory authority: Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD), 15 boulevard du Jazz, L-4370 Belvaux, cnpd.public.lu.
9. Security
Traffic is encrypted via HTTPS. The form is protected against automated submissions and against cross-site request forgery.
